My role
As a product designer at N26, I designed across devices to deliver an engaging banking experience. My day to day responsibilities included collaboration with designers, PMs, researchers, engineers and data analysts. Beginning with effective problem framing, through ideation, co-creation, prototyping, user testing and ending with high-fidelity design solutions.
Main Responsibilities and Impact
Designed and led the launch of a new payments section across mobile and web that increased payment feature usage more than 2x.
Partnered with PM and engineers to prioritize, test and successfully launch a new Overdraft slider that improved user engagement and feature adoption.
Co-led a Design Sprint with my team to co-create the vision for a new payments section.
Created and contributed components to the design system in collaboration with engineers and Design Ops that helped establish new, reusable patterns throughout the product.
Redesigned & launched MoneyBeam, our P2P payment service, in 2 new markets: the US & UK, increasing activity by double (100%).
Organized company-wide workshops and Meetups to help develop essential workplace skills for colleagues and the larger design community.

During my time at N26, my main responsibility was over the Payments experience. This included close collaboration with my X-functional team, as well as with other designers and stakeholders. I was responsible for the full E2E experience from discovery to delivery, including user research. I conducted and led user interviews and usability sessions with the guidance of our researchers.

One impactful project I worked on was the redesign for MoneyBeam, our Peer to Peer (P2P) Payment service. This allowed users to pay other N26 users instantly and for free. To view the case study for one of N26’s most successful features, and others, click below. (password protected)
